Fabril added a point in a game in which it went from better to worse; Pedro López made four key saves.

Coach Sergio Pellicer was missing midfielder Carlos López for suspension. The rest of the players were available, but the coach decided to pick again Iago Novo from Laracha CF, who was joined by side defender Víctor Eimil.

The draw was a 4-2-3-1 figure. Pedro López was the starting goalie, Blas Alonso covered the right side in defence, Lucas Viña played on the left, Quique Fornos and Steve One were the centre-backs. Gaizka Martínez and Iago Gandoy were the centre midfielders, Guillermo May attacked from the left wing, Víctor García did it from the right, Joni Montiel was the playmaker and Uxío Dapena was the centre forward.

The rival was Unionistas de Salamanca CF, a recently promoted club trying to survive in their first experience at Segunda B. Coach Roberto Aguirre is doing a nice job and relied in Isaac Manjón and Carlos De La Nava for the goals.

Tough game for Fabril, the rival improved with the passage of the minutes and its aerial game gave a lot of problems. Fabril had a strong start, the Galicians were pushing forward, but it was Unionistas de Salamanca the side having the first chance to score. It was a header by Javi Navas that went out (3’).

Montiel was pretty active and Guillermo May had the first opportunity for the visiting side, it was a corner-kick of Montiel in which the Uruguayan missed the target after not connecting the ball properly (11’).

Manjón had a good chance at minute 19, it was a combinative play in which he sent the ball over the crossbar (19’), in the next play Blas Alonso fired from the edge of the area and local goalie Carlos Molina made the save.

Iago Gandoy had a good chance to score at minute 23, he collected the ball at the edge of the area and his shot passed close to the far post. Guillermo May had a new opportunity at minute 36, he was assisted by Uxío Dapena and ended missing the target. In the next play Pedro López made a great save before the header of De La Nava.

The final part started with a lateral free-kick of Juan Góngora that Pedro López cleared (48’). Four minutes later the keeper made a great save deflecting the strong shot from De La Nava (53’).

After a good first part, Depor’s lads didn’t felt comfortable in the second and suffered the local pressure, mainly through crosses coming from both sides. Blas Alonso had the first attempt in the half for the visiting side, it was a rebound after a lateral free-kick and Molina made the save (63’).

Pedro Correia was the first substitution as he replaced May. The draw was now a 4-4-2, but Unionistas de Salamanca continued to be the best team on the pitch. Their aerial game was giving a lot of problems; at minute 69 Manjón collected a cross from the right and Pedro López made the save.

Two minutes later the keeper made a new save clearing a direct free-kick by Góngora (74’). Iago Novo replaced Uxío and Pellicer returned to a 4-2-3-1 figure. The last substitution was the entry of Raúl González for Steve One, the latter with a muscle problem. The last chance for Fabril was a shot of Montiel from the edge of the area that was saved by Molina (82’).

Acceptable game for a Fabril, the rival gave a lot of problems in the aerial game and the lads were able to hold on the goalless draw, mainly with the saves from Pedro Lopez. The result isn’t good for the situation at the standings though, because Fabril remain in relegation. Next game is tough as current fifth place Cultural Leonesa visit Abegondo (Sunday, 12h00 CET).
